Our Girls
CH Precious Von Bleibtreu Regency, aka "Kayse"
Precious she is – one of the puppies in Don and Ingrid Smith's "P" litter, born March 15, 2005.
I kept remembering my bond with Kelly all those years and wanted a nice little black and tan female with a lot of spunk and heart. Don and Ingrid sold her to me. Kayse is a 4x Sel CH Antonio daughter and a GV Mar Haven And The Beat Goes On, "Bono," granddaughter on her dam side.
She finished her Championship in February 2008. Then the first weekend in May I walked her into a Canine Good Citizen test and she passed with flying colors! She completed her Rally title in June with all scores in the mid to high 90s. She is now bred to our Cody and due mid February. She is certified “EXCELLENT” hips and normal elbows!! Cody’s prelims were excellent and we’ll have him certified once he’s old enough.
Kayse is exactly the kind of dog everyone wants and should have. She is very intelligent, beautiful, trusting & loyal to those she loves and willing to please at all times. She is not a dog to mess with though. I am very comfortable taking her anywhere. I have taken her to work for years including high rise office buildings, nice and not so nice neighborhoods, retail centers and truck stops. She is the typical great German Shepherd Dog in that she observes and watches what is going on while she is at my side at all times. This same girl will wag her tail and kiss every little child that approaches and lay down and get belly rubs when appropriate. She plays tirelessly hour after hour either by herself or with you throwing her favorite toy. When in the house she has to be near me. She is a fabulous mother and we’re looking forward to her new litter.
CH Regency's Bell Starr v. Kridler's, aka "Bell"
Belle Starr is a medium sized black and red female with energy to burn! She is Tootsie’s daughter and Cody’s litter sister. She is playful, funny, sweet and affectionate. She is exactly what I asked Tootsie to give me out of that litter. I wanted a "typey little female" with personality. She loves water and will play in her water bucket, a children sized swimming pool (she has her own) or the back yard pond. She is submissive with other dogs so she plays well with others. She finished her Championship in six weeks with five Majors. She is now helping me learn how to herd sheep. Thankfully she’s being patient while I figure it out.
Kridler's Tootsie Roll v Signature OFA, aka "Tootsie"
Tootsie is our in-house "mamma." She comes from a wonderful bloodline and has given us litters of gorgeous puppies. Toots was bred by Joe and Leslie Beccia of Signature German Shepherds and Tari Kridler of Kridler's German Shepherds.
She is a medium-to-large size female with dark black pigment and a coat that is always shiny. She has an excellent temperament. She prefers adults to children, but that is a function of not being around children much as a puppy or young adult. She is a wonderful mother with a playful personality. As are most dams, Toots is very protective of her pups while she is nursing. Once she stops nursing, she quickly loses the protection drive and becomes their friend and playmate.
Tootsie does not spend much time in the house as she prefers her kennel, the open yard and the pine trees to play in. Most of our dogs alternate time in the house as well as training sessions but Toots would rather just run and play on her own and stay in her kennel or crate with a good bone.
She tends to have large dark rich pigmented puppies with excellent temperaments, very playful, healthy and happy. We have many wonderful owners of Tootsie’s puppies that keep in touch with us, sending cards, emails and pictures some of which you’ll see on the Puppies page.

Regency's Pocahontas v Kridler, aka "Tess"
"Tess" was second junior female at the 2008 Canadian National Specialty under Gloria Birch. At the 2009 US National, she was first Novice Bitch under Mr. Lee Brown.
Our little Miss Pocahontas, aka “Tess” is a pistol to be sure. She’s very playful and ornery. She was one of 9 puppies in her litter. Most of her litter mates are larger but she’ll be about the size or slightly smaller than her mother and sister. Tess is nicely proportioned with a deep rich black coat of medium length and texture. Her face and personality are much like her sister Belle but she has more angles and is more athletic. Tess placed 2nd in the Canadian National last year in the 6-9 month puppy class. She was also Reserve Futurity Bitch this April in Georgia, under Jamie Walker. She is doing well in her herding classes and should hopefully get a herding title later this year. She is a natural at herding and will be starting her agility classes soon. Keep your eye out for her though because once she’s ready to show in conformation she’ll probably do the shows like she does everything else – with energy, flair and excitement!
Kridler's Libra v. Signature, aka "Libby"
Libby is a “Jack” daughter co-owned (and loved) by myself and Tari Kridler from Kridler's German Shepherds out of North Lima, Ohio. Tari (Terry) bred this litter out of her Tanzanite to Jack in order to incorporate new lines and pedigrees that include some German blood lines. Libby is very high energy with great drive and at the same time super sweet. She’s the most athletic puppy I’ve ever owned and I’m looking forward to seeing her grow up and eventually be shown.
